Is it free to join?
Yes, it is free to join our Hot Deals Platform. You can list and schedule as many deals/offers/updates/etc. as you want. No fees or commission are collected by Hamilton and Waikato Tourism.
How do I log into my Hot Deals account?
Simply click here to log into your account.
Can I run more than one deal/ update/ offer at the same time?
You can schedule as many deals as you want, but as a best practice, we recommend having no more than three "live" at any time. Schedule deals for no longer than 3 months to increase the chances of being featured as "New" or "Expiring Soon."
Image requirements?
The image requirements are a maximum of 1 image, less than 10 MB, and more than 100KB. Image format: JPEG,.PNG, .GIF
How do I schedule my deal?
In the new deal creation (or edit) form, there are fields for start date and end date. Between these dates, your post will appear on the waikatonz.com/hot-deals. You can edit the start and end date at any time if you change your mind, and you can set up multiple posts in advance to appear over the course of many weeks.
How can I delete my deal?
Option 1: Log into your account, click on Edit Deal, deselect Publish (the toggle will turn grey) and click on Update Deal.
Option 2: Log into your account, click on Edit Deal, change the End date to any past date and click on Update Deal.
Do I still need to synchronise my account with my Google My Business profile?
No, our Hot Deals platform no longer supports this feature.
How long does my deal stay on the website?
As long as it's after your selected start date, and before your selected end date, your deal will be live on waikatonz.com.
Do I have to post my deals on your website if I’ve already listed them on www.newzealand.com website?
Yes
Can I edit or update a deal after it has been published?
Yes, you can edit your deal at any time through your dashboard. Simply go to the "Deals" section, select the deal you want to update, make your changes, and save.
How long should my deal be active?
We recommend scheduling deals for no longer than 3 months to increase the chances of being featured as "New" or "Expiring Soon."
Will I be notified when my deal is about to expire?
Yes, the platform will send you a notification a few days after your deal expires. This allows you to extend/refresh your deal or create a new one if needed.
