Please note this symposium is only available to businesses and tourism operators operating within the Hamilton & Waikato Tourism RTO boundaries.

Refund Policy:

We understand that circumstances may change, and we want to ensure a fair and transparent refund process for all attendees of Hamilton & Waikato Tourism activities. Please read the following refund policy carefully:

  1. Cancellation and Refund Requests:
    If you wish to cancel your registration and request a refund, please submit your request in writing via email to jessica@waikatonz.com. The date on which the email is received will determine the eligibility of the refund according to the following terms:
  2. Refund Timeline:
    • Requests received on or before Tuesday 25 March 2025 (14 days before the event) will be eligible for a full refund, minus any applicable processing fees.
    • Requests received after Tuesday 25 March 2025 and up to Wednesday 1 April 2025 (7 days before the event) will be eligible for a 50% refund, minus any applicable processing fees.
    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 7 days before the event's start date or for no-shows on the event day.
  3. Transfer of Registration:
    If you are unable to attend but would like to transfer your registration to another person, please notify Jess at jessica@waikatonz.com with the new attendee's name and contact details. Transfers can be made up until 48 hours before the event.
  4. Event Cancellation:
    In the unlikely event the Symposium is cancelled all registered attendees will be entitled to a full refund of their registration fee.
  5. Processing Fees:
    Please note that any applicable processing fees (transaction fees) associated with the initial registration and subsequent refund will be deducted from the refunded amount.
  6. Refund Disbursement:
    Refunds will be processed within 14 days from the date the refund request is approved. The refund will be made using the same method of payment used during the registration process.
